To support us we are currently looking for a
Working Student in the division Software Infrastructure
with background in computer science or another subject with computer science parts for our team Software Intrastructure & Operations (SWIO).

The challenges for which this team implements solutions have been a popular topic in many companies in the IT industry for a few years. Keywords are DevOps, continuous integration, continuous delivery, deployment pipeline.
As a co-developer of the infrastructure in our software product developments, you will get to know as a Working Student in the division Software – Infrastructure the long-term developments at our so-called SW development factory and support us in a very dynamic environment with a variety of small tasks to which we will introduce you.
- Maintenance of (virtual) developer machines (among others with Eclipse and Java)
- Maintaining the configurations of the systems involved
- Updating of deployed software versions
- Implementing new automation steps in the build and test pipeline
- Analysis and solution of problems in the automatic execution
Since you will hardly know the systems (Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Tomcat, Jira, Confluence), tools (Make, Maven, Scripts) and techniques we use from your studies, we invest in building your knowledge and skills. It is important that you get into working in a very heterogeneous tool landscape and always take on new tasks.

Previous technological knowledge in the following areas is desirable:
- Basic experience in Java application development, although this position is limited to in-house development and also uses C/C++ and MATLAB.
- Knowledge in administration (Windows, Linux) or in quality assurance e.g. with JUnit and JaCoCo
