For our support we are looking for several
Java Software Developers
for our business unit “Automotive Services” at the location Oldenburg and Leipzig.
The Automotive Services department designs and develops customer-specific software solutions based on our technologies and product platforms. The goal is to provide our core customers with specially adapted high-quality tools for the efficient implementation of development and test processes for the development of embedded software.
Your tasks
- As a Java Software Developer you are part of an agile team and develop and test a content management system for editing, managing and testing development artefacts for vehicle functions, driver assistance systems and autonomous driving algorithms together with your colleagues and our partners
- You implement the defined user stories independently in the team and contribute to the achievement of time and content targets in accordance with the team commitment
- While working on user stories, you will mainly be responsible for frontend development
Your profile
Must have:
- You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or business informatics
- You already have 2-3 years of professional experience as a Java Software Developer and are able to work out solutions independently and goal-oriented
- You are self-confident and like to contribute creative ideas, you enjoy working in a team and open communication is a matter of course for you
- You have first experience in the frontend development of Windows applications and have a good knowledge of Java
- You have very good German and English skills
Nice to have:
- If you have experience with Eclipse RCP or with test frameworks such as JUnit, we would be happy to hear from you
- You are familiar with technologies such as EMF/Ecore, JavaScript, XML, HTML and CSS or you are open to familiarising yourself with them
